Hello Michaela! Please introduce yourself and tell us a bit about yourself.

I originally come from the communications sector. After studying political science and history, I completed a master’s programme in public relations. I worked in various PR agencies and took over the communications agendas at RWA in 2011. After the birth of my second son, I switched to the HR department. I really enjoy this job because you meet a lot of different people here and you are also challenged in terms of communication. In my private life, I live with my partner, our two sons and two cats in the south of Vienna.

Why is RWA a great employer for you, what characterises the company?

I have actually been working for RWA for many years for good reason. What I love about our company is the variety of different interesting business areas. As a result, you come into contact with many different topics and it never gets boring. In addition, our company is very down-to-earth and there are many lovely colleagues here with whom I have enjoyed working for many years.

What exactly are you responsible for at RWA?

Together with a colleague, I am responsible for recruiting and personnel marketing. In Recruiting, I look after various organisational units. It is very important to me to provide our internal departments and applicants with the best possible service. It is particularly important to me to always have an open ear and to facilitate fast processes. Above all, this includes giving our applicants feedback as quickly as possible and providing honest feedback.

What is important to you personally in the application process, what can convince applicants?

As we have very different positions to fill in our company, it naturally depends heavily on the job profile in question. For me, it is important that the person’s personality profile matches the position and our company perfectly, in addition to their professional skills. This is an important prerequisite for ensuring that both applicants and managers are happy with the decision in the long term.

What is the best way to get in touch with you?

I am available to our applicants at any time – either by e-mail or by phone. This mainly concerns queries about the position or the application process. When it comes to the application itself, please send it to us online via our career portal. Here we can not only manage the documents and data quickly and efficiently, but also protect them accordingly. By the way, you can also find my profile on LinkedIn, I am happy about any networking!
