Agriculture acts as a seismograph for the state of nature. It is the first to directly experience the effects of climate change. RWA supports the Lagerhaus cooperatives, farmers and its stakeholders, in transitioning to an even more sustainable and resilient agricultural system. Our goal is to contribute to ensuring the food supply for future generations and the sustainability of our ecosystem through the development and provision of innovative and responsible products and services – all while safeguarding the livelihoods of agricultural businesses.
Given the diversity of our business areas, we address a wide range of sustainability topics, which are integrated into the strategic direction of each business sector.
One of the most important stakeholder groups for RWA are the Lagerhaus cooperatives in Austria. By providing sustainable products and services, we guide them and their members – and thus a key part of RWA’s value creation and supply chain – towards a forward-looking sustainable transformation.
In particular, RWA supports the Lagerhaus cooperatives in their voluntary sustainability reporting, such as the Lagerhaus Wiener Becken according to the VSME standard.
