Hello Michaela! Please introduce yourself briefly and tell us a little about yourself.

I have been working in HR for over 10 years, primarily in generalist or HR Business Partner roles. After an internal restructuring, I took over as Head of the HR Business Partner and Recruiting team in March 2023. My professional foundation was built during my studies at the University of Applied Sciences for Business and Technology in Wiener Neustadt, as well as through numerous further training courses, including qualifications as a personnel developer and a life and social counselor.

Privately, I live with my husband in Stockerau and have discovered a passion for traveling—both near and far.

Why is RWA a great employer for you? What makes the company special?

For me, it’s the down-to-earth approach, the family-like environment—even though we have over 700 people at our Korneuburg site alone—the diversity of topics we cover as a company, and the fact that RWA is a trendsetter. This means we decide which topics we focus on, how we approach them, and which concepts we develop. We have a great deal of creative freedom in all areas.

What exactly is your responsibility at RWA?

As Head of HR Business Partner & Recruiting, I am responsible for a team of five employees. Our department’s role is to position RWA as an attractive employer, find the perfect match for our open positions, and serve as a sparring partner for managers in all HR-related matters.

In addition to my role as an HR Business Partner, in which I personally support several business areas, my main responsibility is to actively lead the team and manage our projects.

What is important to you in the application process? How can candidates impress you?

I personally stand for the greatest possible openness, transparency, and clarity. These are also the aspects that are important to me in the application process—from both sides. Additionally, I appreciate it when candidates prepare for the interview and are aware of their strengths and areas for development, what matters to them in their current life situation and future job, as well as their expectations of the company and leadership.

What is the best way to get in touch with you?

The best way to reach me is via email or phone. I am also happy to connect via LinkedIn. For applications, I kindly ask candidates to submit them through our career portal—either for a specific position or as an unsolicited application. This ensures both data protection and a timely processing of applications.
